The successful Restaurant Manager will undertake the following duties:
- Build and manager an outstanding team, ensuring excellent cooperating across departments whilst leading by example
- Remains calm, composed and in control even in unusual situations.
- Effectively handles guest complaints and compliments.
- Projects a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and colleagues.
- Take ownership of decisions and actions
- Communicate regularly on completion of assignments, team achievements and trainings
Job skills & requirements:
- A genuine love of good food and drink, sustainable sourcing and working with local producers
- Management experience within a large restaurant setting
- A history of leading and developing teams to deliver specific goals and targets
- Solid training experience, confident developing and delivering training materials
- Barista experience and strong wine, spirit and cocktail knowledge
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A good understanding of Food Health and Safety requirements
