Hotel Xanadu in a boutique hotel in Ealing Broadway, London. Currently refurbishing our restaurant, we`re looking for a Restaurant Manager to open the restaurant and grow our team.

With a focus on exceptional guest experience, you'll guide your team with strong leadership, setting clear goals and supporting their growth. You'll leverage your passion for fine food, wine, and culinary trends to inspire the team and maintain high standards. Your organizational skills and financial acumen will ensure smooth operations and the achievement of financial targets.

The successful Restaurant Manager will undertake the following duties:

  • Build and manager an outstanding team, ensuring excellent cooperating across departments whilst leading by example
  • Remains calm, composed and in control even in unusual situations.
  • Effectively handles guest complaints and compliments.
  • Projects a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and colleagues.
  • Take ownership of decisions and actions
  • Communicate regularly on completion of assignments, team achievements and trainings

Job skills & requirements:

  • A genuine love of good food and drink, sustainable sourcing and working with local producers
  • Management experience within a large restaurant setting
  • A history of leading and developing teams to deliver specific goals and targets
  • Solid training experience, confident developing and delivering training materials
  • Barista experience and strong wine, spirit and cocktail knowledge
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A good understanding of Food Health and Safety requirements
