A NEW great opportunity to work for an Inbound DMC travel specialist to supervise and motivate a team of Operations executives to optimise tours whilst aspiring to offer the highest levels of customer service to both the client and suppliers.

Our client will consider fully remote UK based or London Hybrid working.

As a Team Leader you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

  • To supervise and motivate the team on a daily basis
  • Assist in the overall management and smooth operation of the office on a daily basis working with the Director
  • Ensure that the team are equipped with all necessary tools and training and support
  • Responsible for ensuring that all team duties are carried out with extremely high attention to detail from initial quote stage to final confirmations and beyond.
  • Proficiency to assist the team in offering suitable alternatives in terms of hotels and services, where originally requested options are not available.
  • Maximize revenues by seeking to convert all enquiries and following up accordingly with clients once initial offers have been sent. Incentivize the team to actively seeking opportunities to re-quote.
  • Support the team to negotiate competitive rates with suppliers where contracts are not held
  • Hold regular team meetings giving support and motivation to the team

Team Leader Skill attributes:

  • Previous strong leadership skills are required within Travel ONLY
  • Able to take responsibility for day-to-day supervision of the operations team
  • Highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Able to work accurately under pressure.
  • Customer service experience.
