Accounts Senior / Client Accountant - SUPERB ROLE

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a Top50 Accountancy Firm in Central London who are continuing to enjoy strong growth across all their business service lines. They are now seeking an Accounts Senior / Client Accountant to join their growing team who will be responsible for a portfolio of Outsourcing & Business Services clients consisting of UK Ltd companies, partnerships and sole traders. Reporting to one of the Client Managers, key duties for the 75% Accounts & 25% Tax role include:

• Statutory accounting for your own portfolio of clients across various industry sectors
• Preparation of client management accounts with complex reporting requirements and strict deadlines
• Using a variety of accounting software packages including Sage, Xero & QuickBooks
• Reviewing the work of junior/part-qualified team members
• Cash management and preparation of client cash flows, including liaison with banks
• Preparation of client budgets for future business planning purposes
• Preparation of Corporation Tax and Quarterly VAT returns, and providing VAT advice to clients
• Liaison with the internal payroll team regarding wages, pensions and statutory deductions
• Day to day client liaison and parent company liaison for larger groups/overseas parent companies

To be considered for the 75% Accounts & 25% Tax role you should be a Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant, ideally have experience of working in a UK-based accountancy practice in a client accounts/outsourcing focused role with statutory accounts experience, management accounts, cash flow and budgeting experience. You should be familiar working with a varied client base and liaising with external auditors, and ideally have experience of Sage/Xero accounting packages.

On offer is a base salary to 50,000 depending on relevant experience, healthcare & pension schemes, 25 days holiday, hybrid working options and other flexible benefits.
