This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a fast paced, fun company on a 6 month contract. They ideally would like someone to start mid-May, but can wait a little longer for the right person. The role would suit a part qualified accountant (or qualified by experience) with at least 2 years working in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the production of Monthly P&L Accounts
  • Assisting with Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Responsible for monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with maintenance of Target & Actuals schedule
  • Daily maintenance of Placement Records
  • Management of Weekly margin for Temps
  • Assisting with yearly audit
  • Assisting with the Month End close process

Requirements

  • Practical knowledge/experience of statutory reporting and management accounts. At least 2+ years of experience.
  • Prior experience in Bookkeeping
  • Excellent communication skills with proven business partnering experience.
  • Good time management skills and ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with solid commercial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Great experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in data analysis and problem solving.
  • Strong academic background, either AAT/ACCA qualified, or part qualified and studying towards a full accounting qualification.
  • IT literacy in MS Office, especially excel is essential. Advance knowledge of Excel is desirable.
