We're looking for a detail driven Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at a successful fashion manufacturing company in North West London.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Full responsibility for the month ends close including posting sales & purchases, journals, overseeing accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets depreciation
  • Preparing the month ends Purchase Report such as Duty calculation, Commission and Freight charges
  • Full responsibility for the balance sheet reconciliation
  • Complete quarterly VAT returns, ensuring compliance and keeping up to date with any changes to VAT
  • Preparing Weekly Management Report such as Aged TB and Sale report
  • Full responsibility for weekly customer payment allocation and supervising sales invoices and debt collection
  • Supporting the Management Accountant with ad hoc analysis, reporting?and projects
  • Support & Cover for the Assistant Accountant
  • Managing and mentoring a Junior Accountant

Person Specification:

  • Advance MS Excel skills with minimum 5 years' experience
  • Some understanding of double-entry book-keeping
  • Have a 'can do' and positive attitude
  • Analytically minded.
  • Well-organised and diligent with exceptional attention to detail.
