Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior

REED Practice are pleased to be recruiting for an enthusiastic Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional growth in various areas of accountancy, audit, and tax.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Preparation of year-end accounts and statutory audits.
  • Management of accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax, payroll, and bookkeeping.
  • Engage in the preparation of accounts for charities and/or LLPs (desirable but not essential).
  • Prepare and submit corporation tax returns.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team, contributing to the development of junior staff members.
  • Maintain direct client interactions, ensuring professional communication and conduct at all times.
  • Participate in a wide range of audit work, ideal for those looking to enhance their audit skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completion of ACA/ACCA exams preferred; consideration for study support if required.
  • Extensive experience in preparing statutory and management accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of current reporting standards (FRS102/105).
  • Previous experience in preparing corporation tax returns is essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • No specific minimum school/university grades required, but academic achievements will be considered.
