Audit Senior at a leading Central London based firm.

The role will be predominantly audit focused and you will get exposure to a diverse range of industries with clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to listed businesses.

The firm aims to promote people internally. To aid your development you will be assigned a mentor, given CPD courses and if relevant the firm will pay for additional qualifications.

Duties

  • Working on a diverse portfolio of clients including small and medium sized privately owned limited companies, LLP's, partnerships and sole traders
  • Leading audits from planning, execution (compliance and substantive testing, analytical review, etc.) and completion
  • Supervision of semi-senior and junior staff
  • Train juniors during an audit, as well as delegate, monitor and review their work
  • Will take full responsibility of each audit assignment and will be responsible for completing the audit work within the agreed timescale
  • Responsible for dealing with technical issues, seeking guidance where necessary
  • Production of draft accounts, from a variety of client records, together with producing a well presented audit file for review
  • Agreeing adjustments with clients and dealing with disclosure requirements
  • Auditing tax computations
  • Drafting management letters and reports
  • Ad hoc specialist assignments as and when they arise

Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Must be up to date in UK accounting standards
