Robert Half is proud to be exclusively partnering with a dynamic and growing real estate firm to recruit a Company Accountant. This standalone role will be critical in overseeing the financial operations of three U.S.-based entities and ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day accounting functions.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive accounting professional with a solid foundation in U.S. GAAP. This position encompasses full-cycle accounting responsibilities, financial reporting, cash flow oversight, and direct support to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and payroll.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee cash flow management and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
  • Provide clear and concise financial reporting and insights to the Founder and executive team.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Highly detail-oriented and analytical.
  • Resilient and self-motivated, with a hands-on approach.
  • Able to communicate effectively with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Known for their sense of humour and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a similar industry or multi-entity structure.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. accounting standards.
  • Experience supporting or reporting directly to senior executives is preferred.
