Finance System Analyst Role Overview
Role Summary:As the Finance System Analyst, you will ensure the smooth operation of D365 F&O and interfaces. You will be the primary contact for resolving queries related to these systems, ensuring that user expectations and issue resolutions align with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
As a key member of the Finance team, you will foster a customer-centric approach and a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that all finance services deliver optimal outcomes
Hybrid Role - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote - London Based

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for resolving issues and queries related to D365 F&O
- Address routine issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and document more complex cases, contributing to overall team success.
- Ensure stakeholder change requests are promptly actioned, adhering to the chart of account design framework.
- Act as the system custodian, ensuring the completeness and integrity of the finance system. Assist in developing robust and efficient finance systems controls.
- Maintain, create, or update the approval chains/workflow within the D365 purchase order system, ensuring approvers are set up in line with Financial Regulations.
Additional Duties:
- Perform finance system tasks, including month-end tasks. Monitor and troubleshoot all jobs, including weekly and monthly interfaces, to meet the Reporting Calendar requirements.
- Maintain user accounts for the purchase ordering systems, ensuring requestors are placed within the correct security profile and approvers are set up in line with the Authorized Signatory List in the Financial Regulations.
- Support the delivery of continuous performance improvements across the finance function.
- Support the delivery of annual interim and final audits from a finance system perspective.
Qualifications:
- Experience in maintaining a robust finance D365 F&O control environment.
- Prior experience working with large volumes of financial transactions on computerized financial systems.
- Holding or studying for an accounting qualification
- Good understanding of finance processes and procedures, with strong knowledge of finance systems and data management.
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving approach to finance systems challenges.
