Your new companyCurrently working with an insurance organisation who are headquartered in Bermuda with operations in London. Due to an internal move, they are looking to recruit a Corporate Accountant / Business Partner. Your new roleBased in the London office and reporting into the Finance Director, the role will be responsible for supporting the global corporate accounting function, with a specific focus on IT cost accounting and reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cost accounting / reporting for the technology department
- Liaise with project managers / AP team to ensure costs are being reported appropriately
- Support monthly close routines
- Support SOX control compliance
- Support the Head of Global Expense Planning when partnering IT management
- Cost forecasting and planning
- Other ad hoc projects
What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed, you will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). You will ideally have exposure to project accounting and fixed assets. It is beneficial to have business partnering experience, although this is not essential. They will also look at someone making their first move from practice into industry if you have had experience working on IT clients.
