LHH Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a Medium sized Housing Association to recruit for a Treasury & Development Accountant.

This position reports directly into the Commercial Finance Manager and will play a key role in managing treasury operations including banking, cash-flows, loan compliance, payments of interest and debt security. The role will also actively business partner with the development function to analyse financial impact, ensure scheme appraisals comply with policy and overall support the HA's business planning.

Responsibilities include:

  • Expert business partner skills, enabling confident decision-making, supporting the business to deliver strong cost control, value for money and quality service.
  • Knowledge of Finance treasury and development matters, including systems, policies and procedures.
  • Leading treasury management; banking, cashflows, interest payments, loan compliance, debt security and new debt facilities.
  • Key contacts for funders, trustees, communications, and reporting.
  • Business Partnering with the development function, identifying impact on all financial statements, analysis against budget and forecasting.
  • Ensuring scheme appraisals adhere to exact policy and procedure.
  • Responsibility for populating development and treasury entries in the 35-year Financial Business Plan.
  • Preparation and submission of several regulatory returns.
  • Leading Development and Treasury information gathering for the year-end financial statements and budget production.
  • Responsible for subsidiary activity of the Group.
