We partnered exclusively with a highly regarded UK-based real estate investment manager seeking a Management Accountant/ FBP to join its growing team. With c.£2bn in AUM and a strong track record across the various asset classes, this firm is entering an exciting new phase of expansion across different investment strategies.

This is a dynamic opportunity for a qualified Accountant to take ownership of the financial oversight of the investment manager, with exposure to strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and potentially client fund accounting. You will work closely with the senior leadership team/ Partners, external service providers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure robust financial management, scalable operations, and risk mitigation as the firm continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and review work by outsourced corporate finance provider, including management accounts, VAT returns, and payroll
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI-setting with partners and board
  • Manage statutory and CASS audits
  • Provide financial and strategic input to business planning and capital allocation
  • Liaise and collaborate with the fund accounting team when needed
  • Oversee operational controls, processes, and internal reporting frameworks
  • Contribute to risk and compliance initiatives

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in corporate/ management accounting, particularly in real estate, asset management
  • Risk and compliance experience and interest in getting involved in operations
  • Strong Excel; financial modelling skills is an asset
  • Collaborative and eager to work across multiple business functions
