Finance & Operations Manager - Renewable Energy Developer

Hoxton, East London (office-based, 5 days | opposite tube station)

40,000 - 60,000 + Bonus (up to 15%) + Pension

The Opportunity

Join a fast-growing renewable energy developer delivering solar, battery, and wind projects across the UK. As Finance & Operations Manager, you'll take full ownership of finance across multiple entities and provide operational support in a dynamic SME environment where your impact is immediate and visible.

What You'll Do

* Manage multi-entity finance (SPVs): reconciliations, journals, intercompany, payments, and cashflow forecasting.

* Produce monthly management accounts and quarterly investor reports.

* Handle VAT, CIS, PAYE/NIC, and Companies House filings.

* Oversee payroll for a small team; liaise with auditors and external accountants.

* Work closely with outsourced HR partner on contracts and onboarding.

* Support day-to-day office operations and occasional PA/admin tasks.

About You

* SME finance background: resourceful, hands-on, accurate, and self-sufficient.

* Experience in multi-entity or project-based accounting.

* Strong Xero and Excel skills.

* Qualification: AAT L4/QBE or part-/newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

* Bright, personable, and adaptable - thrives in a small, open-plan office.

* Happy to work onsite five days per week in Hoxton.
