About the Role

Are you ready to elevate your finance career? We're looking for a Finance Administrator to join our client's dynamic and collaborative finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a growing organisation that values innovation and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Administrator, you'll be at the heart of the finance function, ensuring smooth and accurate operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Administration: Prepare and issue invoices to customers on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage credit control, monitor ageing reports, issue statements, and follow up on outstanding payments via email and phone.
  • Accounts Payable: Log, chase, and process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate upload to Xero.
  • General Administration: Set up new suppliers, create purchase orders, review expense claims, and allocate cash receipts and payments.
  • Business Support: Respond to external supplier and customer queries and assist internal teams with finance-related inquiries.
  • Data Accuracy: Perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and maintain high-quality data processing standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: In finance administration, with strong exposure to accounts payable and receivable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and experienced with Xero and Sage50.
  • Customer Focus: Committed to delivering exceptional service and understanding client needs.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Organisation: Highly methodical, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or within a small team.
