New Finance Business Partner Opportunity in London £65,000 plus % bonus and benefits

Grafton Banks Finance is looking for a competent SME Management Accountant with Finance Business Partnering experience to join a flourishing business near Victoria, London.

This role reports to the Financial Controller and its main purpose is to provide high quality, prompt and accurate management accounts and financial analysis. You will also work on ad hoc projects to address the needs of the wider business.

Some of the key responsibilities:

-          Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and support cashflow forecasting for the organisation.

-          Complete monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations

-          Support with the rolling cashflow forecast process

-          Prepare relevant accruals and prepayments including all relevant journals for management accounts

-          Conduct financial analysis and prepare financial data as required for Board and Committees.

-          Work with senior stakeholders across the business to help them create their annual budgets.

-          Support the development of the annual budget and periodic forecasts for each department.

-          Maintain the fixed asset register and calculate monthly depreciation charges

-          Partner with Budget Holders to support them in financial and commercial decisions

-          Providing financial support and analysis as part of the overall finance function

The successful candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2 years post qualified experience.
  • Previous experience of property investment / landlord/ facilities management (or very closely related) sector is beneficial.
  • Must have experience of producing management accounts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate / advanced excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is desirable but not essential.
  • Able to be in the office near Victoria 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home.
