Meraki Talent are partnering with a large international bank to support them in the appointment of a Financial Accountant. This is an excellent next step in your finance career if you're looking to join an organisation where you can grow and develop. The role is open to part-qualified and finalist-level candidates with experience in year-end accounting, US GAAP, and the banking sector. This is a permanent position based in London, offering a salary between £50,000 – £56,000, with a hybrid working pattern of 4 days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packs and support financial reporting under the guidance of the Assistant Head of Accounts
  • Manage the accruals and prepayments process, as well as support the CAPEX reporting
  • Perform and oversee reconciliations of Nostro accounts
  • Support the end-to-end audit process
  • Maintain and improve finance procedures, ensuring all information is accurate
  • Produce relevant reports in accordance with US GAAP standards
Candidate Specification:
  • Part-qualified or finalist-level (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or equivalent
  • Good understanding and previous experinece of working under US GAAP.
  • Some experience supervising junior staff would be beneficial but not necessary
  • Previous experience working within a banking environment is desirable
