The position offers a salary of £45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare statutory accounts for UK legal entities (IFRS and FRS101)
Perform and coordinate the timely submission of the monthly Group financial statements to HFM system and Inter-company confirmations.
Complete the monthly Inter-company / RBL loan / debt cost transactions and revaluation.
Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts on a quarterly basis.
Assist the Audit team for Group and Statutory Audit.
Act as the main contact for transactional accounting for two business units.
Advise on accounting treatment for extraordinary and non-routine business transactions.

Process improvements and ad-hoc projects

Develop and maintain an approach of continuous improvement to financial reporting, SAP and business process issues to ensure maximum value is added to business decision-making processes.

Line Management

Act as a mentor for the Finance Apprentices.
Act as a backup within the Finance team in particular, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation process.
