We are proud to partnering exclusively with a non profit organisation in their search for a French speaking Reporting Accountant. This is a 4 month temporary role with a view to go permanent (not essential) offering fully remote work looking to pay up to 38 per hour for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team and add value to an organisation carrying out impactful work.
As the Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for fiscal closing, managing local annual fiscal audits, reviewing and preparing of recorded/posted transactions European entities along with producing reports and recommendations following audits.
The successful candidate will have:
- Full fluency in French (this is essential and unfortunately non French speaking candidates will not be considered)
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is desirable (Part qualified or QBE candidate are welcome to apply and will be considered)
- Proven track record of all aspects of accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, budgets and financial statements
- Solid understanding of statutory requirements, legal procedures (audits, taxes, etc.) and government regulations in Europe
- Prior experience working in nonprofit/NGO financial operations is desirable
