My client, a leading Telecoms company, is recruiting for a qualified Financial Controller to support their government projects. This role focuses on driving transformational change across accounting, budgeting, invoicing, compliance, and reporting processes, as well as supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process improvements, including automation and streamlining of data handling.
  • Identify and implement enhancements in financial data, processes, controls, and systems.
  • Support the finance team with tasks related to compliance, reporting, and financial operations.
  • Ensure financial integrity through effective policy and process changes.

Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in Financial Controls, Compliance, Reporting, and Financial Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and data processes.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience transforming financial processes, particularly in reporting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proactive, confident, and solutions-focused with a strong sense of ownership.
