Profile:

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in U.S GAAP or exposure to US business culture, a track record of managing financial operations, and a proactive mindset. Responsibilities include full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management and compliance.

Hiring Goal: Build a lean, effective team in the UK with high standards and US-style work ethic.

What we need:

• Looking for people with character, drive, and strong execution skills.
• Looking for "plug and play" talent - they should hit the ground running with minimal handholding.
• Preference for individuals with US work experience or exposure to US business culture.
• Strong attention to detail, maturity, and commitment are non-negotiables.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage core accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Conduct analysis of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Track cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain robust internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
• Deliver financial insights and reports to support executive decision-making
