They are looking for a Financial Controller to join the established finance function.Your new roleThe Financial Controller is needed to join a dynamic finance team within a well-established financial services organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial management.
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, managing a small team.
- Maintain internal controls for financial, tax, and regulatory reporting.
- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and commentary to support business decisions.
- Lead statutory accounting and external audit processes.
- Manage regulatory reporting and liquidity/capital requirement calculations.
- Drive automation strategies to enhance financial operations.
- Act as a business partner across teams and deputise for the Head of Finance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years post-qualified experience and some management experience
- Strong financial control experience ideally within wealth management
- Ability to lead, analyse complex data, and collaborate across teams.
- Expertise in UK GAAP, IFRS, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
