Reed Finance are happy to be working with an exciting growing FMCG company who are looking to expand their Finance team. This role involves managing the finance function's day-to-day activities, ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and robust reporting. You will play a key role in aligning financial strategy with business objectives, supporting their continued growth and innovation.
Day-to-Day of the Role:- Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis in both GBP and EUR.
- Perform monthly stock reconciliations and monitor standard costing and gross margin reporting.
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines.
- Manage year-end accounts preparation and statutory filings in compliance with UK GAAP.
- Oversee AP/AR functions, ensuring robust credit control and accurate invoice processing.
- Manage cash flow forecasting across multiple bank accounts and currencies, ensuring optimal liquidity.
- Strengthen internal controls and scale financial processes and reporting systems.
- Maintain compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage payroll and ensure accurate and timely submissions.
- Proven experience in financial control or finance management, particularly in FMCG or hospitality.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and controls, with experience in financial management software such as Xero.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to align financial planning with commercial strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels.
