A leading technology provider to the insurance industry is recruiting for a Financial Controller.Reporting to the CFO the successful applicant will be responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions, reporting and processes of this fast-growing SME business, as well as assisting with budgeting and forecasting.The role is 'hands-on' and will also assist with any ad hoc requirements for the CFO, HR department, senior management team and investors.The position will suit a qualified mid-level Finance Controller with experience in a similar role in an SME company. Since the role is in a rapidly growing SME under private equity ownership, the successful candidate will need to manage a broad range of tasks, be a self-starter with an eye for detail and driven to complete tasks accurately and on time. Excellent Excel spreadsheet and communication skills are essential, as is taking ownership of all tasks.Suitable applicants will be qualified accountants with proven experience in a comparable role, ideally with at least 3+ years PQE or equivalent, demonstrating a similar level of responsibility and expertise.
