Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Funding & Operations Officer to join an established business who are consistently growing based in the North West London area on a permanent basis.

You will be an integral part of the financial operations team, primarily focused on proactively supporting the Head of Financial Operations with investor audits, overseeing the loan process and responding to client’s enquiries.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing accurate and detailed statements of loan accounts for both internal and external use
  • Responding to client queries
  • Reconciling customers’ loan accounts and where necessary ensuring that any discrepancies are dealt with
  • Working with third party direct debit platform called GoCardless
  • Providing administrative support to the Head of Financial Operations and to solicitors
  • Undergoing final checks on loan applications prior to funding, ensuring that credit conditions put in place are met and that the information provided on file is in line with internal policies and legal requirements
  • Working with credit reference agencies- TransUnion, Experian, Equifax
  • You will also be liaising with all departments and assisting with final pay out checks to ensure that the loans disbursed adhere to the company’s policies and procedures
  • You will be assisting with the preparation of files for external audits

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of two or three years of work experience in general ledger or financial administration
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Good understanding of the legal complexities of loan agreement, debt security, payment plans, and interest rates
  • Ability to understand credit reports both business & personal
  • Ability to read and understand any data matched on CIFAS (fraud prevention organisation)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail - thoroughness and accuracy
