This role will be instrumental in the group financial reporting activities, liaising with the various other subsidiary businesses based in the UK and across Europe.
This is a highly visible role in the organisation, and requires a technically strong accountant who is able to converse in both English and French to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing group reporting and consolidation, which is across multiple currencies and international territories
- Manage the group management accounts process
- Play a key role in the Group annual statutory reporting processes under IFRS, liaising with auditors and running the annual audit on behalf of the business
- Budgeting and forecasting, supporting various teams across relevant territories
- Established key KPIs
- Managing cash and banking position and supporting on treasury matters
- Supporting on M&A matters on ad-hoc occasions
- The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills and experience
- Qualified ACA/ACCA, ideally trained in a reputable accounting practice
- Experience of group consolidations and group reporting
- Must be able to speak fluent English and have a high level of competency conversing in French
