Are you an experienced finance leader looking to take ownership of the finance function within a growing, international group? My client is looking for a Group Financial Controller to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, reporting directly to the CFO.

This is a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and effective team leadership across a multi-entity business structure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Produce monthly management accounts and insightful financial analysis
  • Lead preparation for year-end and statutory audit, ensuring clean audit outcomes
  • Manage treasury and banking relationships
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring compliance across the group
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes
  • Provide commercial support to key stakeholders with data-driven insights
  • Supervise and develop a small Finance team
Experience:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in a Group or Financial Controller role, ideally within a multi-entity or international environment
  • Excellent understanding of statutory requirements and reporting standards
  • Experience managing audits and external relationships
  • Confident managing a small team and working closely with senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on, proactive and commercially minded
