We're looking for a motivated Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Finance Team on a fixed-term basis. You’ll play a key role in financial and management reporting, especially managing profit and loss reports and leading a financial services project. This is a great opportunity to help shape a high-performing finance function.
What you’ll do:
- Manage financial processes for specific partners, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
- Be the main finance contact for both internal teams and external partners.
- Oversee profit and loss reporting and analysis
- Support month-end tasks like variance analysis and balance sheet checks.
- Help with the year-end audit and preparing financial statements
- Make sure accounting standards are followed and improve processes where possible
- Keep finance procedures up to date and follow company policies
- Get involved in projects and support the wider finance team as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant, ideally with audit experience
- Strong experience in financial and management accounting
- Excellent Excel skills
- Able to meet tight deadlines and keen to improve ways of working
- Great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust
