Interim Senior Management Accountant - 1 year Fixed term contract - London based children's charity

Description
- To produce monthly management accounts including analysis of key financial and operational performance indicators to enable reporting in a timely and accurate manner
- To ensure income is recorded and coded accurately in a timely manner, and reconciled with Fundraising records as applicable
- Ensure all bank transactions are adequately monitored and processed
- To carry out or review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for the supervision of the sales and purchase ledgers
- Reconciliation of investments as applicable
- To regularly analyse and manage cash flows
- To prepare VAT returns ensuring that the Group is compliant with all relevant regulations and that the overall tax and VAT position of the Group is optimised
Profile
A successful Interim Senior Management Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Significant experience in a senior financial management role.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector (SORP 2019)
- Local authority funding experience
