Day-to-day of the role:- Maintain client bookkeeping records using Excel and various accounting software.
- Prepare statutory and management accounts for clients.
- Potentially handle corporation tax returns, personal Self-Assessment returns, and assist with other taxes such as VAT and PAYE.
- The role is office-based with a strong emphasis on training and professional development in a secure and rewarding environment.
- 1-2 years’ experience in bookkeeping, preparation of trial balance, and financial statements.
- Understanding of UK tax compliance.
- Proficiency in software such as Excel, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Thomson Reuters Digita, Iris Elements, and Moneysoft Payroll Manager.
- Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Keen eye for detail and strong team working skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for accuracy and excellence.
