About the Role:

On behalf of a prestigious investment firm based in the City of London, Found-U Recruitment is searching for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. The Role:As the Part-Qualified Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by producing key management packs, assisting with month-end processes, and ensuring the accounts are prepared up to trial balance. You will be given the opportunity to work closely with senior finance leaders and gain exposure to high-level reporting and analysis within the investment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of detailed management packs for senior stakeholders, providing insight into financial performance.
  • Assist with the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Support the production of accounts up to trial balance, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide input into budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting and processes to drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate across teams, gaining exposure to senior management and business leaders.

Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate will be part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA and will have strong experience in preparing accounts to trial balance. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to balance both office-based and remote working. A background in finance, accounting, or a numerical discipline, coupled with experience in a similar role, is essential.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, including trial balance preparation.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial systems (experience with investment companies is an advantage).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally come from an SME background.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
