An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join a progressive and well-regarded firm of chartered accountants. You’ll be working closely with an exciting portfolio of clients across the Media, Production, Entertainment, and Fashion sectors, gaining hands-on exposure in a collaborative and creative environment.This hybrid role also offers the chance to work on a hybrid basis, part of a growing team, all of which sharing a positive collaborative work approach. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Produce cash flow statements and perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review and submit VAT returns
  • Assist with year-end accounting processes
  • Manage payment runs and general financial processing
  • Liaise with clients and handle finance-related queries
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team
  • Train internal client staff on financial processes where required
  • Assist the CFO with ad hoc finance duties
Key Skills
  • Experience working within an accountancy practice or Creative industry  (highly desirable)
  • Studying towards ACCA, ACA or CIMA (or with the desire to start)
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a finance role
  • Solid understanding of general accounting procedures
  • Confident with VAT returns and reconciliations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage your own workload
  • A genuine interest in the Media, Music, and Entertainment sectors
