A leading international professional services firm are looking to add a Management Accountant to their finance team. This is a newly created role due to strategic growth of the business and will suit a personable and excellent communicator with a focus on building strong working relationships with stakeholders.

This is a pivotal role in the Finance team, and requires a proactive approach producing financial data analysis, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to assist in strategic decision making.

Based in the heart of London on a hybrid basis, this is a broad role that will progress your career, gaining valuable experience partnering with heads of departments, improving internal financial processes and preparing management information for shareholder meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present comprehensive management accounts, as well as monthly management information for shareholder meetings
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate with heads of departments as a subject matter expert
  • Management Information: Prepare and deliver management information for shareholder meetings.
  • Take ownership of financial data analysis, tracking budgets, forecasts and long-term plans
  • Oversee and approve payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support on year-end statutory accounts and internal audits
  • Assist with WIP reviews and revenue management, ensuring accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience in management accounting, must be within a professional services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Excel and financial software, ideally Aderant
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • WIP experience
