Job Description:
In this role, you will produce accurate financial reports, track performance against budgets, and support the finance team while helping improve processes across multiple entities.
- Compile monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reports and balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse financial outcomes versus budgets and prior months, identifying significant trends and deviations
- Prepare monthly group reports featuring detailed analysis and explanatory notes
- Process and record revenue for several entities, ensuring compliance while enhancing operational efficiency
- Coordinate budgeting and expense monitoring for FAM trips in collaboration with relevant departments
- Manage bank reconciliations and oversee expenditure to ensure adherence to company policies
- Record accruals and prepayments to maintain precise expense allocation
- Collaborate with auditors to facilitate the audit process
- Support the implementation of a new accounting system
- Provide occasional assistance to the Heads of Finance and the Regional Finance Officer
- Mentor and assist Finance Team members as needed
Experience Required:
- Fully or partly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or similar)
- At least three years’ experience in management accounting
- Good Excel skills and confident using accounting systems such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Strong with numbers and detail-focused
- Well organised and able to adapt to changing tasks
- Proactive and willing to help in different areas when needed
