Management Accountant

Elevate Search are working with a growing multi-site business that is looking to hire a qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role based in London, paying £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience.

As the business continues to scale, they’re looking for someone who can bring rigour to month-end reporting, support operational teams across multiple sites, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

The role will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis) across multiple sites or divisions.
• Delivering clear and insightful month-end analysis against budget and forecast.
• Taking ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconciling sales and cost of sales and investigating variances with operational teams.
• Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Acting as a finance business partner to non-finance stakeholders.
• Assisting with cash flow reporting and working capital analysis.
• Driving improvements in processes, controls and reporting.
• Getting involved in finance transformation or systems projects.
• Providing ad hoc reporting and supporting commercial decision making.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and information security standards.

Who this would suit:

This role is ideal for a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) who enjoys getting into the detail but also wants to have a broader impact across the business. You’ll be comfortable owning the numbers, but equally confident working with operational teams to make sense of them.

You’ll need to bring:

• Solid experience in management accounting, ideally in a multi-site or fast-moving business.
• A genuine eye for detail, with the ability to spot issues and explain the ‘why’ behind the numbers.
• Strong Excel and system skills, and confidence working with large volumes of data.
• A clear, down-to-earth communication style, someone who can work with non-finance teams and build trust.
• A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and support the wider team.
