My client, a_TV/FILM PRODUCTION business based near_HOLBORN STATION, is seeking an accomplished a_MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to join whilst they begin their next exciting growth phase. This is an incredible time to join this amazing business who really value their staff.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS BASED IN THE OFFICE 4 DAYS A WEEK (One day from home)
THE ROLE
- The role will provide support to the FM with business accounting activities.
- Month end book-keeping and journal entry
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting workings including commentary and variances to budget and forecast
- Assisting with cashflow reporting
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll reports
- Assisting with the preparation of royalty statements and management of IP sales revenue
- Assisting with management of overheads versus budget to enable cost savings
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Liaising with third party providers, customers, and suppliers (where required)
- Overseeing management of prepaid cards (Soldo/Pleo) and company credit cards
- Dealing with HMRC (where required)
- Dealing with ad hoc queries made by staff or external providers
- Review and improve accounting procedures and processes to ensure efficient
SKILLS REQUIRED
- TV or Film experience will be very desirable
- Part-qualified/Qualified/QBE or working towards a qualification
- Experience in management accounting and preparing payroll reports
- Experience in a fast-moving environment
- Experience of an accounting software package
- Experience with Microsoft software packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Sage, Sage Intacct or other cloud-based software
