PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS BASED IN THE OFFICE 4 DAYS A WEEK (One day from home)

THE ROLE

  • The role will provide support to the FM with business accounting activities.
  • Month end book-keeping and journal entry
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting workings including commentary and variances to budget and forecast
  • Assisting with cashflow reporting
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of royalty statements and management of IP sales revenue
  • Assisting with management of overheads versus budget to enable cost savings
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Liaising with third party providers, customers, and suppliers (where required)
  • Overseeing management of prepaid cards (Soldo/Pleo) and company credit cards
  • Dealing with HMRC (where required)
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries made by staff or external providers
  • Review and improve accounting procedures and processes to ensure efficient

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • TV or Film experience will be very desirable
  • Part-qualified/Qualified/QBE or working towards a qualification
  • Experience in management accounting and preparing payroll reports
  • Experience in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience of an accounting software package
  • Experience with Microsoft software packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Sage, Sage Intacct or other cloud-based software
