Management Accountant

A well-established London-based company operating within the creative advertising space is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. Based in Central London, this role offers a flexible hybrid working setup (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) and the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and evolving business.

The Role

In this pivotal position, you’ll work closely with the Directors, delivering accurate and insightful management accounts that help steer strategic decision-making. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is looking to grow their impact.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of core finance duties including:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
• Performing variance analysis and preparing commentary for senior stakeholders
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Creating and issuing client invoices
• Providing financial insight through data analysis
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Assisting with audit preparation and queries
• Leading improvements in financial processes and reporting
• Reconciling credit card expenses and managing balance sheets
• Overseeing monthly stock takes and HMRC submissions (e.g., VAT, P11Ds)
• Managing payroll and employee benefits (Vitality, Cycle to Work, etc.)
• Handling occasional administrative tasks (e.g., courier bookings, client calls)

About You

We’re seeking someone with:

• A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of management accounting experience
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification (or working toward final stages)
• Strong Excel skills and general systems proficiency (Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach
• A desire to develop professionally within a collaborative environment
