Role responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of year-end accounts and financial reporting for a wide range of clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering practical advice and commercial insight
- Overseeing the work of managers and junior staff to ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency
- Providing strategic input on firm direction, client growth and service development
- Supporting clients with budgeting, forecasting, systems implementation and process improvement
- Playing a key role in new business development and representing the firm in the wider business community
- Maintaining high standards of technical accuracy, quality control and ethical compliance

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in a general practice or accounts-focused role
- Proven track record of managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality accounts services
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and compliance requirements
- Commercially minded with a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their business goals
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams
- Strategic thinker ready to contribute to firm-wide growth and decision-making
