Are you an experienced TV Production Accountant looking for an interesting new opportunity? A leading TV production group is looking for a talented, outgoing individual to join their lovely, outgoing London based team.

This role will oversee the slate of productions for 2 labels renowned for producing ground breaking and well-loved Entertainment & non-scripted content. You’ll work closely with creative and production teams, ensuring every project runs smoothly from a financial perspective, both in the office and occasionally on set. You will work on some large format shows, and its this is your chance to make a real impact on the shows everyone’s talking about.

This role offers hybrid working, but will require you to travel to & work on set whilst shows are in Production

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the finances for a slate of entertainment productions, ensuring budgets are on track and costs are controlled
  • Guide production teams on company financial procedures and PMI system setup
  • Monitor all production spend, including supplier invoices, petty cash, and expense claims
  • Prepare and review cost reports, cash flows, and monthly figures for submission
  • Proactively identify and communicate any financial risks or opportunities
  • Conduct regular cost report, budget and financial meetings with production teams, capturing current & projected spend
  • Ensure timely financial closure and audit preparation for completed productions
  • Post internal recharges, levies and deductions against each production
  • Travel to set as needed to support on-location finance operations
  • Undertake ad hoc projects

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Production Accountant in television
  • PMI system experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and TV/film industry tax considerations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and tax policies
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
