Working in the Financial Control and Reporting team, this is an opportunity for a Project Accountant to join on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. London. Hybrid working.

Description
This is an opportunity to provide project support to the Financial Reporting and Control team.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up of internal control framework to ensure smooth workflow and data reporting
- Implement improvements in data quality within the system (static, mappings, data at source, removing known workaround.)
- Automation of reports via Power BI/Dashboards, specifically in relation to daily reports and analytical reviews
- Implement improvements of specific daily/month end excel reports used for collation/aggregation of data
- Improve reporting timeframes to increase efficiencies
Profile
A successful Project Accountant should have:
- Ideally recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (can consider Qualified by Experience)
- Experience in project accounting ideally within financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent EXCEL and Power BI skills
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
