Revenue Accountant
Pinpoint Resourcing are working with a media business based in London who are actively seeking a Revenue Accountant to oversee the end to end revenue process.
Duties:
- Manage end-to-end revenue recognition in line with accounting standards.
- Review timesheets and supplier costs to ensure accurate accruals and forecasts.
- Reconcile WIP, deferred revenue, and accrued income balances.
- Prepare revenue reports with key movements and variances.
- Streamline and improve revenue recognition processes.
- Work with project teams to forecast revenue and monitor margins.
- Review project profitability and WIP; identify risks and corrective actions.
- Manage intercompany revenue allocations for multi-studio projects.
- Supervise and mentor an Accountant.
- Act as the main finance contact for revenue-related issues.
- Produce monthly KPIs and variance analyses.
- Build dashboards to improve revenue visibility.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience working in a similar role
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar data visualisation experience an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of project based accounting principles
Salary + other information:
- 50,000 - 65,000 DOE
- 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
