We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Semi Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role involves working alongside senior accountants and reporting to the department manager, focusing on year-end accounts processing and preparation. This position offers a great opportunity for growth and development within the company.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare statutory year-end accounts for limited companies under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A, and FRS 105, including working papers and lead schedules.
- Prepare and file corporation tax computations and CT600 returns; produce iXBRL tagged accounts and computations.
- Prepare sole trader and partnership accounts.
- Ensure compliance with Companies House and HMRC filing deadlines.
- Utilize accounting software like IRIS, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage to maintain accurate financial records.
- Engage in regular group structures and charity accounts management.
- 2-3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Proficient in using accounting software such as IRIS, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Strong understanding of account preparation and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- No specific qualifications required, but experience in the field is essential.
