Job Purpose
  • Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the Senior team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
  • Preparation of accounts
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Build strong rapport with teams across the wider firm, ensuring clear and effective communication
  • Develop junior staff by reviewing work, offering guidance and championing skill sharing
  • Use relevant software including CCH and Microsoft Office
  • Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
  • Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency
  • Research and interpret changes to regulations
  • Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities
  • Provide support to Senior Managers and Partners by undertaking ad-hoc work where needed

Job Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or finalist
  • At least 2 years' practice experience
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a keen eye for detail
  • A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • A hands-on team player who can manage their own workload
  • Highly organised and punctual to ensure deadlines and budgets are met
