I have partnered with an established and growing Property Management firm who are seeking a Senior Client Accountant to join a dynamic team. This role is crucial for delivering financial and property reporting for a diverse range of clients and properties.

With passion and pride for professional delivery you will be the principal point of contact for client queries and will ensure all service level agreements and key performance indicators are met.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Report to clients, ensuring all SLAs and KPIs are adhered to, including standard and client-specific reporting.
  • Prepare audit packs, full statutory accounts, and VAT reports and returns to HMRC in line with Making Tax Digital.
  • Conduct accurate reconciliation of client reports such as VAT and client statements.
  • Serve as the principal point of contact for client queries, providing support and advice.
  • Collaborate closely with Surveying colleagues to ensure all client deliverables are met.
  • Perform Balance Sheet reviews and remedial work with full narrative.
  • Manage client and property cash-flow and funding.
  • Conduct annual property service charge reviews and liaise with Asset Manager and Service Charge Team to ensure completion within best practice guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and review property take on and handover information.
  • Attend client and internal meetings as required.
  • Manage and maintain the property and tenant (lease) database for all clients under remit.
  • Review the work of other team members and assist with training and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong financial and technical reporting experience in a commercial client accounting role.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, capable of engaging with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in all ledgers.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
