What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will:
路Provide accurate cost advice and reporting to clients.
路Deliver projects, commissions, and professional assignments.
路Lead commercial management services with limited supervision.
路Take a leading role within the team and foster a collaborative, innovative environment where talent thrives.
路Maintain effective communication to ensure all information is available for successful project completion.
路Deliver all work outputs accurately and on time.
路Liaise with other managers to ensure good resource allocation and efficient financial control.
路Support team leaders in the cost management of projects.
路Represent the organisation professionally - meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships.

What You'll Bring
To be successful in this Senior Cost Consultant role, you should have:
路A BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
路Chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
路Awareness of sustainability requirements, carbon reduction, carbon assessments, and option studies.
路Strong data skills, including cost analyses, benchmarking, dashboards, and smart reporting.
路Experience in both public and private sectors - ideally across new build, cut & carve, refurbishment, and fit out (offices, healthcare, residential, hospitality, major projects, government, leisure, or retail).
路Pre- and post-contract experience.
路Proficiency in CostX or other cost planning software.
路Excellent technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills.
路A well-organised, diligent, proactive, and commercially astute approach.
路A positive, collaborative, and adaptable attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
