Due to growth, our client is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is a key role focused on delivering accurate consolidated reporting and supporting financial operations across multiple jurisdictions. Ideal for someone with a strong accounting experience in both practice and industry, and familiarity with global accounting standards.

Reporting into the Department Heads, duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Preparation of consolidated financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring alignment with US GAAP or IFRS, as applicable
Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Oversee year-end audit process
Collaborate with tax advisors to manage multi-jurisdictional tax compliance and ensure accurate filings across the group
Maintain and improve the group's chart of accounts, promoting consistency and alignment across all business units
Monitor evolving tax requirements and contribute to timely and accurate group-level tax submissions
Support the ongoing development of internal controls, financial policies, and process improvements
Provide clear and practical advice on complex accounting issues and assist in implementing new accounting standards
Contribute to special projects and ad hoc reporting as requested by senior leadership.

This role is likely to suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with strong knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards with both industry and practice exposure. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of intercompany accounting, tax compliance and audit coordination.

You will possess strong Excel skills alongside, experience working with ERP systems and Xero.
