I am recruiting a Senior Financial Accounting for a six-month fixed term contract, with strong potential to become permanent.
My client is a c£300m turnover international business with plans in place to double in size over the next five years.
This growth will happen through a mixture of acquisitions and organic growth, this hire is essential in supporting the Group Financial Controller during (and beyond) this period of growth.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the financial accounting team (4) responsible for all aspects of statutory accounting and financial reporting.
- Produce group consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Identifying and implementing any changes to accounting policy.
- Managing the statutory accounts process for both UK and overseas entities.
- Identifying any technical (IFRS) accounting issues and leading the resolution of these issues.
- Manage month-end close process,
- Further develop the robust financial controls framework.
- Drive the continuous implementation of current systems and reporting.
- Liaise with the Auditors on all aspects of reporting, ensuring that all relevant information is provided within agreed timelines.
Your profile:
- A qualified accounting - ACA / ACCA or equivalent. You will be practice trained with post qualification industry experience gained in a large company financial accounting environment working under IFRS.
- You must be able to demonstrate experience of the following:
o Production of statutory accounting and group consolidation.
o Hands on month-end closure including where necessary journal entries and monthly analysis.
- A strong leadership profile, able to manage, motivate and lead.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Diligent, analytical and curious with a high attention to detail.

Hybrid working - 2/3 days per week in the central London office.
