  • Our client seeks an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with forensic accounting experience gained in the insurance industry
  • Stakeholder management, supervisory, and interpersonal skills will be required
  • Resolving financial insurance losses which will include product recall, business interruption, cyber, fidelity, and stock
  • Examining claims forms, policies and endorsements, and setting loss reserves
  • Methodical analysis of financial data and public information, evaluating and identifying the real economic impact of the insured incident
  • Assessing the quantum - negotiating the quantum with brokers, lawyers, accountants, and corporate management
  • Working closely with claimant and adjuster and also working with other consultants retained by the adjusters to help ensure that the loss measurement is aligned to the reinstatement timeline
  • Building relationships and undertaking marketing activities to grow client base
  • This role will be looking beyond the numbers, which may include researching market trends, industry information and conducting interviews with business owners, employees, vendors and customers
