Description
The key responsibilities of this Systems Accountant role will be:
- Support the finance function with process improvement and automation
- Simplify and enhance existing Excel-based financial models
- Document workflows and help create user-friendly manuals
- Provide input on accounts payable processes and assist with project-based finance work
- Assist with modelling around royalty fees, commission income, and revenue stream
Profile
A successful Systems Accountant should have:
- Strong Excel skills essential - confident with financial modelling and simplification
- Proven experience in systems/process improvement within an accountancy environment
- Good understanding of accounts payable (Sage 300 experience not required)
- Exposure to revenue modelling beneficial but not essential
- Polished, professional, and collaborative - able to listen and integrate with the team
