Role Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, landlords, and non-resident individuals
  • Prepare and review personal tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate compliance
  • Handle HMRC enquiries and advise clients on personal tax planning opportunities
  • Support Partners on advisory projects relating to capital gains tax, inheritance tax, residence and domicile issues, and trust matters
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, providing proactive support and building long-lasting relationships
  • Stay informed on legislation changes and contribute to the development of best practices within the tax team
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and support their growth

Candidate Requirements
  • ATT, CTA, or ACCA/ACA qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax, CGT, and IHT matters
  • Confident communicator with excellent client service skills
  • Organised, proactive, and capable of managing deadlines independently
  • A team player who enjoys mentoring others and contributing to continuous improvement
