Role: Technical Private Client Personal Tax Director - In-house

Our client is a national law firm and their Private Client Team is one of the largest in the UK, managing tax affairs for individuals, non-doms, trustees, partnerships, charities, sole traders, and family businesses.

the team is looking for a Private Client Personal Tax Director to join the growing team. This role involves supporting lawyers and accountants in delivering tailored tax advisory services to high-net-worth individuals. However you are not expected to bring in new clients or manage your own portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist tax support and chargeable advice to colleagues.
  • Sharing technical tax knowledge and supervising less experienced colleagues.
  • Leading on complex personal tax matters, including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Trusts, and International clients.
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining up-to-date tax knowledge.
  • Participating in strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with strong private client tax advisory experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of taxation for high-net-worth individuals and wealth protection structures.
  • Experience in leading projects and advising on trusts and estates.
  • Ability to manage a complex client portfolio and collaborate on technical and risk matters.

Location: Flexible, with main offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds Flexible working with at least two days per week in the office.
